I have seeds for Nasturtium ‘Jewel Mixed’.. I know I have to soak the seeds overnight, and put 2 in each hole.. Like you I am raising these seeds in a Mini Indoors Greenhouse.. How long does it take to geminate?? And how many weeks do you have to sow them before the frost date is gone?? My package of seeds does not give me much information..Thanks, Cheers

Hi Malka. Hmm.. I have to say, I didn’t soak these seeds before sowing them. I planted about 4 of them on 9 March, and then gradually added a few more over the next few weeks. The first one sprouted after 6 days, and the next one after 16 days! So, not having soaked them might explain this, because so far only two have sprouted. My package instructions tell me to sow indoors in late April, and sow outdoors mid-May. The offical last frost date here is mid-May, but I usually sneak them out a little earlier, since we’re in the city and with the greenhouse effect and all that.
