Goldflame Spirea

This is where my lack of garden knowledge really starts to show: non-edibles! I have two of these nice bushes at either end of my shade garden. They’ve got beautiful leaves and a lovely autumn colour, but I have no idea what they’re called.

This picture was taken on June 23, 2008. I have succesfully pruned these back in late winter twice, and they’re now starting to show some new growth.

I took out one of these in May 2008, because it was looking very unhealthy. The other one’s still doing fine.

This planting is in the Shady Herb & Shrub garden .

Already in my garden (I didn't plant it)

Quantity: 1

Plant Japanese spiraea Spiraea x bumalda 43

Is het geen hortensia, ofwel een hydrangea? Aan de houtvorm en blad te zien, dan…ik weet het ook niet zeker.
