I love your pink magnolia!
I’m thinking of planting a magnolia and would love something that would eventually look like yours. Magnolias grow well in Nova Scotia although sometimes people have issues with the blooms & late frosts.
Can I ask a few questions? Do you know what species your magnolia is? How tall are the pink ones? Are they proper trees or shrubs? Finally, are the blooms fragrant?
Thanks ever so much.
Hi, I have no idea what species the Magnolias are. I am bad at estimating, but I would guess 15- 20 feet tall? I am pretty sure they are trees and no, they are not fragrant. Although that probably doesn’t help you since I don’t know the species!
Actually, it does help. They look like the magnolias I always find to be so pretty. If I find one for sale with a picture, I’ll know there is no scent. Also, I definately would prefer a tree to a shrub and 15 or 20 feet sounds just about right. Thanks. They’re really beautiful.
