Amaryillis Seedlings

They’re currently gestating in a moistened tissue paper satchel within a ziplock bag above my refrigerator. Hopefully, they’ll sprout and can be successfully transplanted into an egg container.

Cross your fingers everyone! :D

This planting is in the Livingroom Windowsill garden.

I sowed mine straight onto compost in a 5" half depth plastic pot, covered with a thin layer of compost, sealed inside a plastic bag and now I have a good double handful of seedlings growing strongly. They took about 3 – 4 weeks to germinate. They’re on the lower tier of staging in my greenhouse, shaded from the sun, and are doing really well. I think I’d be afraid of damaging the roots/shoots if I germinated them in a polybag first and then tried to transplant them :-\
