Split or self seeded from planting elsewhere in the garden. Seems happy under the edge of the conifer where not much but weeds grow otherwise.
Don’t have a label but I think it’s virgaurea.
I think this came from my old garden. Pretty rampant so need watched but the bees and hoverflies LOVE it so it earns it’s place despite being a little high maintenance. The golden fluffy flower spikes appear in August. It responds well to the Chelsea chop.
