If sowing directly, sow at a depth of approx. 0.12 inches (0.3 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 0.5 inches (1.27 cm) between Basil plants.
Italiano Classico normally grows to a max height of 1.46 feet (that's 45.0 cm metric) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.
