Geranium 'Vancouver Millennial'

I bought a pot of Geranium ‘Vancouver Millennial’ two or three years ago from a supermarket in town. I have overwintered it several times successfully & have also taken numerous cuttings. Last autumn I took some more so I wouldn’t lose a Geranium that I like a lot.

I’m not usually prone to “impulse buying” but this Geranium, as well as another, I bought on the spur of the moment just as I was leaving the shop because I hadn’t seen them when I entered to do some shopping. I was in 2 minds at first but I thought if I left them for the following day they would be gone so I decided to get them there & then!

I also bought an unnamed green & white variegated one at the same time that has bright pink flowers
which roots very easily. In the photo you can see cuttings of both Geraniums I took to overwinter. They all rooted & have been transplanted to bigger pots.

Some days ago my first, original, plant, which was in an aluminium ring on the balcony railings, was blown down by a very strong gust of wind. When I discovered it I found a couple of its branches had been broken so I cut them off & trimmed a few shoots to use as cuttings which I then put in a small pot to root. I shall get more plants this way! :-))
