A delicate red variety of passionfruit from Mount Banahaw Quezon Province(possibly introduced there by the foreign tourists). My passiflora is 8 yr.old and shared the seeds to the residents of the mountain ranges of Sierra Madre/gardens in Tagaytay,Cavite to maintain its availability. The fruits are red and with mild aroma and sweetness during cool months. This variety loves cool climate of mild tropic.Ideal temperatures( 14C to 26C.) .My passiflora vine has rooted vines that were in close contact with soil(naturally enarched or rooted)and still undergoing vegetative growth during wet months.
This planting is in the libisika garden .
