Pineapple sage

Very pretty lime-green leaves. Smells great.
Ridiculously easy to propagate more. If kept indoors/sheltered, it will be able to bloom. The leaves get chilly and fall off if it’s left out in winter, but it’s always regrown from the roots or remaining stems for me.

I put a chunk in the Maui fountain as an experiment to see if it can grow in water without soil. It is growing vigorously just like it’s dirt-bound siblings, but has developed some odd patterning on the leaves that looks like a virus or extreme deficiency (or overload of a nutrient).

This planting is in the Sunroom garden .
