Sansevieria?

Mother’s Day gift from when Bill worked at Lincoln Park Presbyterian. This one thrived when I put it in the sun, but the other one (divided from the same plant), weirdly bleached out.

This planting has been archived (other).

Gift from Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church.

Quantity: 1

Plant Snake plant Sansevieria trifasciata 149

Care Instructions

Snake plant normally tends to reach to a mature height of 1.20 metres [imperial: 3.90 feet] so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.

Try to apply water fairly sparingly.

Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.1 and 7.8 as Snake plant likes to be in acidic to alkaline soil.

Looks like Mother-in-Law’s Tounge, proper name: Sansevieria.

Which would make sense, since they were giving it out on Mother’s Day. I always wondered what the connection was. The leaves have never gotten as long as the images I’m finding (and it’s something like 10 years old at this point— oldest houseplant I’ve got), but the connection makes so much sense I’m going to go with this.
