Hippeastrum Red and White Star    

A generic but beautiful Hippeastrum that I’ve had for several years. It’s a good performer and a striking sight in full flower. I saved seed from this variety last year and have eight seedlings which germinated this spring. It will be interesting to see what they look like :-)

This planting is in the Small Greenhouse garden .

Care Instructions

Amaryllis normally grows to a mature height of 75.0 cm (that's 2.44 feet imperial) so ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant.

Remember to water moderately.

Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (10a) is within the ideal range for Amaryllis. The recommended range is between Zone 10 and 11.
