Loquat 'Champagne'

A light-fleshed Loquat cultivar. I’ve never tasted it before so we’ll see how it turns out. “An excellent early-season variety. Large teardrop-shaped, sweet fruit has pale flesh with a slightly tart, champagne flavor. Self-fertile. Bears April to May. Hardy to 12 F. Full or part sun. Feed with a complete fruit tree fertilizer every two months from February to September.” Plant in well drained soil. “Once established, water when top few inches of soil are dry.”
