Rudbeckia 'Cherry Brandy'     

Plants are 24” tall with a 12” spread and 3”-4” flowers that are deep maroon red with a dark center and are produced all summer. Self-seeds readily.

Oh this is so good to see. I tried to start from seed last year – failed. So I tried a whole bunch more this year and have a good 24 to put out. Yours look great!!! I’m a little behind though, hopefully I’ll get some flowers by end of June……

This was my first year trying to grow these from seed, and I’m pretty happy with the results! I grew 3 Rudbeckias this year, though, and Cherry Brandy had the lowest germination rate among them. I’ll be rooting for you to get some flowers in June. :)
