Planted from a small potted plant I bought at the gardening centre up the road. I moved it from one container to another (the same one as the “Yellow Pixie” tomatoes, because I read somewhere that they help to improve flavour) which gave it a bit of a shock – seems to be coming back now, which is good!

Try for a seed spacing of at approx. 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.23 inches (0.6 cm) if planning to sow direct.
Ensure you have enough space in your garden for this plant - Spearmint is known for growing to a height of approximately 45.0 cm (that's 1.46 feet in imperial).
Your garden has partial sun light - a dappled sun position will ensure your plant thrives.
Remember to water moderately.
Your garden's USDA Hardiness Zone (8) is within the ideal range for Spearmint. The recommended range is between Zone 4 and 10.
Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.5 and 7.0 as Spearmint likes to be in acidic to neutral soil.
