They are a versatile pumpkin, we love them. Excellent roasted, steamed, boiled or as a soup.
I can’t really describe the taste, as I haven’t grown nor tasted that many varieties, and these are a popular variety around here and they’ve filled our needs. They aren’t bland that’s for certain! They aren’t buttery either. But they are smooth and moist with a lovely strong flavour. They are also great keepers, we still have two in the pantry (stalk down) and that’s into their 5th month since being picked.

I’ll send you some seeds with the beans if you want – remind me though!
