Help! Does anyone know what this is?????

This is about 2 metres in height and just smells amazing i can only describe the smell as if you had just walked into a lolly shop……….i would love to know what it is, so if anyone has any ideas then your help would be greatly appreciated.

It’s still with us but it’s slipping, it’s looking very much the worse for wear. I’ve got some spare horse manure and compost so I’ll spread that around it and see what happens. There should be no shortage of water as the tank overflow goes directly into the sandy front garden, and we’ve had a lot of overflow this spring!
It is nice and it would be a shame to lose it after so long.

No actually. It’s never crossed my mind. It came with the house and it’s not something I would have planted myself, but I have nothing against it either :-)
It does put out strong growth when it’s pruned so there would be no shortage of suitable material. Perhaps air layering might work.
I’ll have a look tomorrow and see if there is anything suitable on it. I really must do some rosemary cuttings anyway, so a couple from this as well can’t hurt.
