Leaves shooting

09 Sep 2009
19°C / 66°F

Our dwarf peach has been sprouting leaves for a week or so, was looking lovely and green. Unfortunately, it is one of two trees still needing to be protected by wire, so the leaves have been munched somewhat. But it is so exciting to see signs of new life, the breaking of dormancy. No buds, I don’t know if its supposed to yet (by season or by fact of recent transplant).
