I actually took a picture today. It’s lots of broccoli rabe, a couple of small orach plants, a couple of mustard leaves, a few lettuce leaves, and a bunch of arugula.
I’d had enough of spinach. Although I really need to use up a lot of it. I put out a general call for people to come and consume my spinach. Anything that’s not gone by the end of the week will be frozen and consumed in a cooked format next winter. Next year I need to resist picking the spinach in a cut and come again fashion. I need to take out the entire plant every time I pick any. Unless I decide over the winter that I really like to have it on hand and frozen.
The broccoli rabe has gotten to the point where some of the stems are getting tough. I don’t know when I’m supposed to call it over and pluck it out. I don’t think it’s there yet, anyway.
