A little update

14 Sep 2013
Clear 21°C / 70°F

I continue to busily purchase and plant out new natives for the back verge – having killed/removed several years worth of grass and weeds, I am trying to get wanted plants in before too much rain brings the unwanteds back.

Experimenting with spiky natives up to 1 metre plus ground covers – anything that would annoy a wallaby’s nose enough to be uninviting. Going well so far.

Also some lovely flowers in bloom – the natives may be less showy than the azaleas but they last so much longer and are so much more interesting (IMO).
