Two varieties of tomatoes and several types of peppers into greenhouse grow bags. Watered. Harvested some rocket and lettuce. placed some pots near cabbages to aid watering.
So I assume the purpose of the clay pot embedded in the soil is to fill it with water and then let the water seep out slowly. If so, is the normal hole in the bottom sealed up somehow?
Or is the pot just a target for the hose spray, and a way to tell how much water was applied?
Just a pot so water gets into the ground rather than just on the surface. http://www.gardenersworld.com/how-to/projects/basics/how-to-water-your-plants/361.html
