Seed Swaps

Progress inside and out

This has been a lovely Spring for gardening. I have a lot more established plants than last year, and so this year have not had to spend very much money on anything (which hubby likes a lot). I need a composter bad – compost is likely the only soil material I’ll need to buy this season, and it seems like such a waste with all the green/brown matter we throw away anyways! One day.
The rasied bed is doing great. I was very optimistic when I put it in in February, but just harvested the first handful of radishes yesterday – so far, so good! I set up a previously purchased twine trellis for the peas to grow up and they are currently flowering and happy.
I have Flat leaf Parsley and Rainbow Swiss Chard in pots that are about to flower – I’m trying to save their seeds for later plantings.
The seedlings for summer crops are doing well under the grow light, with plans of them being planted out around Mother’s Day.
