hardening off 2012

First day of trapsey involving three flats of pansies, one flat of carnations and one flat of snapdragons. Also, 8-inch pots of eustoma, painted daisies and stocks along with a smaller pot of strawberries.

I hadn’t heard of Eustoma before. Lovely cat photos as always, such characters! :D

I just love eustoma. Florists call it lisianthus but Chilterns says that’s its former name. It’s can be a devil to germinate and grow to transplanting size. But once it’s in the garden, it just takes off.

Regarding the photos… when flower pictures are ‘flower-less’, use pictures of cats! That’s my motto. Oh, did you happen to see what happened to me while volunteering for the animal shelter? Nissy talks about it in the last couple of posts on his blog.
