The 40 or so Amaryllis that I potted up in April are now starting bloom, they are being moved from the kitchen & bedroom windowsills to the living room table as the buds start to open.
So as to keep better track of them I numbered them as I potted up the bulbs & also put the date on the pots. Here are a few now on our living room table:
Finally there are lots more pots with bulbs at differing rates of growth both on our bedroom windowsill as well as the kitchen windowsill. None are as far advanced as in the previous photo though. So there may come a moment, during July, when, for the first time this year, I won’t have at the very least one plant in flower!
All of my Amaryllis bulbs that I planted back in April 2017 have either not flowered or have finished flowering. Those that have finished have been moved out onto the balcony where I’ve put them on some shelving I put up a few months ago. These can be seen in the accompanying photo. (Not that there’s much to see – only green leaves really!)
