I only grow the Hard Neck varieties of Garlic since I like big cloves. I harvest in May / June and the garlic is great into the new year. But by March no mater how I store the garlic, I get green sprouts appearing. Personally I can’t taste the difference and I use it anyway. But in theory the sprouts damage the taste. Do y’all have the same issue with sprouts appearing no mater what 6-7 months after harvest?
