Kitchen 2017 Garden

As my Amaryllis will no longer be going down to my friend, Gerry’s, allotment (he giving them up) I thought the best thing was to make new “gardens” where the plants actually are & will have to stay during the summer as well. Though I may put them on the balcony – if I can make room for them!

An indoor organic garden located in Huntingdon, United Kingdom, Amarylis's Kitchen 2017 garden currently contains 7 plants.

This is a Indoor garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 8a. It has mainly Compost soil and receives Partial Sun light.

Very shortly these Amaryllis will be going away for the summer & won’t appear here again till the end of October at the earliest. All of them finished flowering some time ago but I’ve had to wait till May before I can removes them from the kitchen windowsill. Being frost tender they can’t go outside until all risk of frost has gone – generally by the middle of May.
