Foundation Garden

This is the area in front of the house between the walkway and the house. East facing.

first photo shows the whole thing north of the door. It is aprox 9’X40’. You can also see our well. Taken when the snow melted briefly in Feb 2011 just after we moved in.

In the photos the guys who delivered our fridge cleared a path through the snow, but they went through the garden instead of shoveling the sidewalk so it makes the garden look smaller then it really is….

The no-snow photos are from when we went to the house showings in Nov ’10. The 2X4 railing will be going asap……

the vent in the last photo is the dryer….

I am working on making it a raised bed garden as to get it up from the hard clay. It also has the hose bib there so I can easily set up an auto water system if I want to.

An outdoor organic garden located in Centerburg, United States, tash's Foundation garden currently contains 26 plants.

This is a Foundation garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 5b. It has mainly Silty Clay Loam soil and receives Partial Sun light.
