Red Wigglers Garden

After a couple years of wanting to start vermicomposting, I finally convinced my husband to let me give it a try. We purchased some Red Wigglers at the local Seedy Saturday in March 2010. For the moment we’re using a homemade rubbermaid system that seems to be working very well.

An outdoor organic garden located in London, ON, Canada, ceae's Red Wigglers garden currently contains 0 plants.

This is a Compost garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 6a. It has mainly None soil and receives None light.

Lots of fun, and a great project to involve the kids! I had some a couple years back, but hubby got squeemish. The funny thing was I had it running for three months before he noticed it! Beams I’m tempted to start again.

What Seedy Saturday had Red Wigglers?! Jealous Awesomness.

Haha, DH has finally come around! Just a couple days ago he started talking about our worms to some friends and was telling them how great worms are! I’ve since moved the bin upstairs to the kitchen and haven’t heard a peep about them! LOVE IT~! SS was here in London at Siloam United. Anita from Annelid Cycle was going to be there selling her castings/extract, so I asked her if she would bring some for me, which she did. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for worms/worm products. Super nice lady with awesome worms!
