Mendel Award

Awarded to folians that have planted at least 29 Pisum (Pea) plants. This award is named in honor of Gregor Mendel, the father of modern genetics. He cultivated 29,000 pea plants between 1856 and 1863 as part of his experiments into plant hybridization.
