Water Melon 'Sugar Babe' in greenhouse

Gerry & Dave's allotment garden , Watermelon 'Sugar baby' Sprouting, and Our Greenhouse garden
Almost a couple of years ago, September 2010, my wife was in Spain visiting her family & our two boys, & she brought me back various packets of seeds, both flower & vegetable, which I first started sowing in the greenhouse on the allotment last year about this time. As there were sooo...

    First no-dig for me.

There are so many methods on the net for no digs, I spent a good hour or two researching them on the net. I finally chose one that most closely resembled the materials I had. Marked it out – I am using triangles in my garden, layed cardboard, wet, sugar cane, wet, organic plant food + aged ...

Three sisters and a few coyotes

Corn, Golden Bantam , Beans, Kentucky Blue , Squash, Georgia Candy Roaster , and Tomato, Coyote

Has anyone tried the three sisters in a Square Foot Garden? Can it be done in a 4'x4' or will I need more space???

Hi All, I would like to try the three sisters (corn, squash, beans) in one of my square foot gardens. I’m wondering if that will be enough room. Has anyone tried this, and if so how did you configure it. Thanks!

Tomato 'Yellow Taxi' Harvesting, Winter Squash 'Galeux D'Eysines' Setting Fruit, and Picardo Farm garden
Well, I just discovered folia yesterday, and I’m really enjoying the site so far. I figured I should write up a bit of background on the Picardo plot, for public edification and my future reference. :) This is my first year growing tomatoes in the ground, and in a garden with known late bli...
