    Exploding Verbenas

    I planned these things last year and they broke out with a vengence this year. So spectacular that I decided I needed more in my yard. So three of the four corners of my front year have Vebenas.

    Transplanted

    Ajuga reptans - Carpetbugle - 'Black Scallop' Transplanted and Rhodie garden
    Planted Black Scallop, June 2007, Rhodendron. Growing well and spreading. Continues to grow well in the shade and still looked good over the winter with just a few rusty looking leaves.
