  Another tub of fruit

  Littlest's tomato plant Harvesting and Bunlett's Strawberry pot garden
  One more ramekin of fruit, and still lots more ripening on the plant. What a good little tomato bush :-) We ate them for our supper, chopped in to slices, in tortilla wraps, mixed with a jar of alfalfa from the sprout garden.

  The latest haul

  More of the yummy tomatoes, and there are still lots on the plant. I’ve picked off the leaves which are starting to die off, it makes the fruit easier to keep an eye on. One of the tomatoes fell off when it was still green, so rather than leave it on the ground, I’ve bought it in.

  More tomatoes, and just in the nick of time

  I popped outside to pick a few tomatoes from Littlest’s plant today and got another ramekin full, only half of them didn’t even make it in to the pot, they were so yummy. A few of them had split their skins because they were so ripe, and of course I had to eat those too. Oops :-) late...

  A good harvest, just in time for guests

  Not bad for a freebie, not bad at all. One and a half ramekins of gorgeous sweet fruit, just in time for a visit from my sister, her husband, and little one. My friends Mick and Jane came over with their two as well. The toms were picked this morning, and served with cheesy nibbles and fresh filt...
