    Getting Ready for Spring

    We had a couple warm days early this week: by Tuesday I was able to pull the cabbage and kale plants from the porch planters and loosen the top four inches of soil or so. Some of it was still frozen in clods, and my hands were freezing, but it felt good to be working outdoors in the garden again....
