  • Full Sun

  • Medium

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Polyvit is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Polyvit requires a sandy, clay and peat-rich soil with a ph of 5.2 - 8.3 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Growing Polyvit from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.51 inches (1.3 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 15°C / 59°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Polyvit about 28 days before your last frost date.

Transplanting Polyvit

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Polyvit is a hardy plant.

Harvesting Polyvit
