'Okinawan Spinach' is a plant in the Gynura genus with a scientific name of Gynura crepioides.
Okinawan spinach is rich in iron and potassium, calcium, vitamin A, etc.Blooms appear in these approximate colours: Dark orange. The mature flowers are of a pompon form. Okinawan Spinach grows as an annual/perennial and is a flowering edible vegetable / herb. Being an annual / perennial plant, it tends to grow either as a single season plant, or a plant that can stay in your garden for many years. Normally grows with a mound-forming habit. Try planting Okinawan Spinach if you'd like to attract butterflies to your garden.

My Okinawan spinach has come back and now it is about two feet in diameter. It is taking over the garden!!!
