ornata likes a position of partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that ornata is thought of as half hardy, so protect with a row cover whenever the temperatures drop. ornata requires a soil ph of 5.0 - 6.5 meaning it does best in moderately acidic soil - weakly acidic soil.
