Blooms normally grow to 1.0 cm (0.39 inches imperial) in diameter and produce a sweet scent, whilst showing as a colour very similar to Fuchsia pink. The mature flowers take a clustered form. Schubert onion grows as a perennial and is an edible flower. Being a perennial plant, it tends to grow best over several years (approx 3 years and greater). Normally grows with a erect habit.
