Spearmint 'Mentha Julep'

Plant in a location that enjoys dappled sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Mentha Julep is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Planting Mentha Julep in loamy, potting mix and clay soil with a ph of between 6.5 and 7.0 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to neutral soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.23 inches (0.6 cm).

As Mentha Julep is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
