How to grow Rosemary 'Rosea'

This plant thrives in dry, exposed, sunny spots in very well drained limey soil. Needs little fertilising. Remove some branches if foliage is too dense.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Rosea is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.

Growing Rosea from seed

Sow 0.23 inches (0.6 cm) deep with a guideline distance of 0.98 inches (2.5 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

Transplanting Rosea

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Rosea is a hardy plant.
