Globe thistle 'Veitch Blue'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Veitch Blue is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will survive though longer winters with little or no damage. Veitch Blue needs a sandy, loamy and potting mix soil with a ph of 5.0 to 6.0 (moderately acidic soil to weakly acidic soil).

Soil temperature should be kept higher than 17°C / 63°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Veitch Blue is a very hardy plant.
