Keep in mind when planting that Ajihei No. 335 is thought of as tender, so remember to ensure that temperatures are mild before moving outdoors. A soil ph of between 6.1 and 7.5 is ideal for Ajihei No. 335 as it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Aim to sow 1.17 inches (3.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 2.28 feet (70.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 21°C / 70°F to ensure good germination.

As Ajihei No. 335 is tender, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
