Enjoys a full sun position in your garden and remember to water moderately. Jack-O-Lantern is generally regarded as a tender plant, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Jack-O-Lantern needs a soil ph of 6.0 to 7.5 (weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil).

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 4.94 feet (1.52 metres) and sow at a depth of around 1.17 inches (3.0 cm). For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 21°C / 70°F.
