How to grow Cauliflower 'Veronica'

Veronica likes a position of partial sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Veronica is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Veronica requires a soil ph of 5.7 - 6.5 meaning it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Veronica from seed

Start indoors 6 weeks before last frost date, transplant out 2-3 weeks before last frost date. Start indoors 12 weeks before first frost date, transplant outside 9 weeks before first frost date.

Ensure a distance of 1.17 inches (3.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - look to sow at a depth of approximately 0.39 inches (1.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.
