Sambac Jasmine makes a relatively carefree and non-picky houseplant, needing little in the way of water or sun, and nothing in the way of fertilizer. It has fragrant flowers year-round, assuming it is not too cold. The flowers tend to open in the evening and last for 24 hours.

This plant has done well with little attention although it needs to be trained if you want it to cover a specific area. My only disappointment with it is that it only blooms once a year.
