These grew bitter for me. I believe that might be more my fault than the cukes. It was a terribly dry summer.

Sprocket1980's Cucumbers (Cross-Country Hybrid) was Reviewed day 17
This is my favorite cucumber to grow for pickling. It is fairly easy to grow in Zone 9b, as long as you provide ample water and sunlight. It is very prolific and has a long period of harvest.

Sprocket1980's Cucumbers - Cross-Country Hybrid (2012) was Reviewed day 374
In Zone 9b these can be sown directly in the ground in Feb. I space them about 4" apart and then trellis them once the are 6" long. They are excellent for baby dill pickles when picked about 3"- 4".

Didn’t do very well under these conditions (greenhouse container) compared with the prolific cropping outdoors last year when it was worthy of 5 stars.

Really very pleased with this heirloom variety. 100% germination. Grows quickly and produces a lot of tasty cucumbers which are the perfect size to be included in 1 or 2 individual salads.

KathN's Cucumber 'Lemon' was Reviewed day 309
Prolific. Tasty. Hearty. Vigorous. I only gave it 4 stars, because this variety of lemon cucumber didn’t have quite the taste I wanted. It could have been my soil. But, on the whole, extremely edible. Not for people who like “seedless” cucumbers.

These are wonderful. Prolific, easy to grow, beautiful, and oh so tasty. Sweet w/ no after-burp. Drawback seemed to be short shelf-life in the fridge; they dried out and shriveled if left in there for more than a day or two. Not a problem since I ate

Basic green cucumber. Good smell! OK taste. Best eaten within three days of picking. Prolific and easy to tend. Had plenty to share with the neighbors since I was eating mostly Lemon Cucumbers instead.

First time I’ve grown it – fast growing , prolific and disease free. Delicious, tender fruits raw or pickled. A hit with all the family. Definitely one for next year.

Produced 4 edible cucumbers, which isn’t a lot seeing as this is supposed to be a high yield variety. I know cucumbers are difficult to grow, but lost 3 out of 4 plants early on and then only one survived to produce very little. May try a different vari
