How to grow Swede 'Virtue'

Keep in mind when planting that Virtue is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Planting Virtue in loamy and clay soil with a ph of between 6.5 and 7.2 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Growing Virtue from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 1.95 inches (5.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.47 inches (1.2 cm).

Transplanting Virtue

As Virtue is very hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
