How to grow Busy lizzy 'White'

  • Partial Sun

  • High

Plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that White is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.1 and 6.5 as White likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Growing White from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.06 inches (0.15 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 24°C / 75°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing White about 56 days before your last frost date.

Transplanting White

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as White is a tender plant.
