Aokubi needs a loamy and clay soil with a ph of 5.5 to 6.8 (weakly acidic soil).

Growing Aokubi from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.47 inches (1.2 cm). For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 13°C / 55°F.

Transplanting Aokubi

Aokubi is tender, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.
