Can be grown in cold frames/greenhouses over the winter.
Harvest by cutting/pinching off just below the crown when rosettes are 3 – 4 in. tall (7.5 – 10 cm).
Position in a full sun location and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Corn Salad Vit is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Corn Salad Vit tends to grow best in a soil ph of between 5.6 and 7.5 meaning it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.Sow in early to mid spring for summer crop and again in late summer for a fall crop.
