This planting has been archived (Harvested)

These were purchased at Mt Penang Flora Festival and planted in the vegetable garden..The soil was enriched with compost, chook run matter which had been composted, cow manure, blood and bone, and sulphate of potash (just a sprinkling around each plant)..Then they were mulched with sugarcane.. To utilise the space in the bed i interplanted them with some leftover seedlings of lettuce ‘Montpellier’ to fill the gaps..
