Lolly's Daphne Eternal Fragrance x 2

This daphne certainly deserves its name of ‘Eternal Fragrance’. It really does seem to flower all year round. It’s the beginning of September as I write this, and there are buds all over it yet again. Daphnes have such a lovely fragrance: first learnt about them at Wakehurst Place quite a few years ago… “what’s that amazing scent!” and following it to find its source. Determined to buy one from then on. The one in the photo is as a result of a damaged sprig that was broken off the mother plant. It was cared for by Pops, and then eventually transplanted into my garden, where it has grown like mad from its original titchy 3 inches of twig.
